Every contribution helps us bring education, healthcare, and empowerment to underprivileged communities. Since donations are used for charitable purposes, we follow a strict refund and cancellation policy.

1. Donations

  • All donations made to CDA Foundation Trust are final, non-refundable, and non-transferable.

  • Donors are advised to carefully check the amount and details before making a donation.

  • Once a donation is processed, it cannot be cancelled or reversed.

2. Duplicate Transactions

  • In case of a duplicate donation or erroneous transaction, donors are requested to notify us immediately at the contact details provided below.

  • Upon verification, refunds for duplicate donations will be processed within 7–10 working days through the original mode of payment.

3. Failed Transactions

  • If a donation transaction fails but the amount is debited from the donor’s bank account, the donor should contact their bank/payment gateway immediately.

  • CDA Foundation Trust will assist in such cases, but the responsibility lies with the donor’s bank/payment provider.

4. Event Registrations / Sponsorships

  • In case of payments made towards event registrations, sponsorships, or project support, cancellation requests will be reviewed on a case-to-case basis.

  • Refunds, if approved, will be initiated after deducting administrative charges.

5. Tax Exemption Certificates

  • Donations are eligible for tax exemptions under Section 80G of the Income Tax Act (for Indian donors).

  • In case a refund is issued due to duplicate or failed transactions, the corresponding tax exemption certificate will be cancelled and considered invalid.
